Summer 2025 Fellowship Applications are Now Open!

The 2025 PBF Fellowship Program opened November 8, 2024.

Official PBF fellowship offers will begin to be extended on a rolling basis starting on December 7th, but last throughout December, January and February.

Applications for the 2025 cycle will close January 17th, 2025.

Application Form - Part II - Brief Essays & Other File Uploads

For your Brief Essays, limit responses to no more than two double-spaced typed pages for all three questions, i.e., two pages total, not two pages for each answer. Please include your name on each page.

  1. What kind of work, educational and/or personal experience have you had which you consider relevant to your summer job application?
  2. What is your reason for applying for this position?
  3. What do you hope to accomplish/gain from this summer work experience? How does this type of work relate to your long-term career goals?

Important Information Regarding ALL File Uploads

Please take in consideration that your application with attached files will be sent via e-mail to the mentor organizations and that email systems have limitations on the size of attachments. For that reason make sure that:

  • All your files must be in PDF format.
    You can save your Microsoft Word documents in PDF format, or use an online converter to create PDF files
  • The "Other Required Information" field also accepts ZIP files if you need to upload multiple files in that field.

  • Avoid using scanned documents as they tend to be large.
  • The size of each file cannot exceed 2MB and the size of all the combined files should not exceed 10MB.
  • If your files exceed these size limitations, you must submit separate application forms for each mentor organization.
