Wage Justice Center

Los Angeles, CA

This is the 2025 fellowship description for this mentor organization.

Legal Fellows at the Wage Justice Center will participate in the Center’s efforts to combat wage-theft, which is faced all too often by immigrant and low-wage workers in California. We engage in litigation and non-litigation strategies to empower workers to hold those who seek to evade liability for wages accountable. We work closely with community and labor organizations seeking to improve working conditions in a variety of low-wage industries.

Assignments may incorporate an interplay of litigation, fact investigations and non-litigation strategies.

Spanish, Korean or Mandarin language capacity strongly preferred.

The total ten-week stipend for this fellowship will be $7,000.
